Healing & tattoo aftercare is vital for a great tattoo.

Tattoos are like an open wound. It needs great hygiene and care. No sun, sunbed, sauna and no swimming during healing, which can take up to 30 days. Avoid synthetic fabric, use natural fabrics. Drink 2 ltrs of water every day for four days. Avoid sports the first 5 days after the tattoo. Avoid animal hair in contact with your skin.

After care with second skin:
We will often put second skin on your tattoo. The second skin can stay on your body for up to 5 days. It very often fills up with fluids which is normal. If the plastic starts coming off you need to remove it completely. When you take it off it hurts a bit, helps to take it off in a hot shower. (If you experience any redness around the plastic it’s a small allergic reaction to the adhesive, in this case take it all off. !!!)

After that you keep your tattoo clean with perfume free soap and a perfume free cream, or panethenol. Use the cream up 1 - 2 times a day, remember to have clean hands and make sure to keep the cream uncontaminated. Don’t keep it too moisturised and wet. Only apply cream after having washed the tattoo.

After care without second skin:
You will be wrapped in cling film. Leave it on for 24 hrs. Then wash with warm water and end with very cold to close the pores. Keep it clean and moisturised, not too wet though, a bit dry and it will heal well. Wash before cream, apply cream 1-2 times per day.

Keep hands clean when you touch the tattoo, and don’t contaminate the cream, use a spoon or otherwise to avoid fingers in the tub of cream. If it is a tube no worries.

NO SCRATCHING THAT ITCH! and we know, it is itchy as hell.

Avoid direct contact w hairs from any pet.
